Cole Tarrant, Broadcast Editor
I am Cole Tarrant, and I am the Broadcasting Editor for the Redbird Word. I am a Junior at Alton High School in Alton, IL. I am also taking classes at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL for Music Production. My main passion is performing music. I play drums, piano, harmonica and I do lead and background vocals. I am always working on new projects and I record my music and make music videos. In my free time when I’m not playing music, I like to play video games, watch movies, and hang out with my friends.
With my studies at LCCC, I am learning how to use a program called Pro tools. Pro Tools is a recording program that I can use to record and edit multiple audio tracks for my Journalism podcasts. I can also add special effects and audio mixes to each track. On my spare time, I am also learning how to use Filmora 9 to create video content for music and school assignments. I am working towards having my own music and multimedia recording studio. I want to record and produce my own music. Being a Rock Star is the career path I will take.
