TEAM OF THE WEEK
Congratulations to our Varsity Redbird Boys Golf Team. What an effort by our Redbird Boys Golf team this past week shooting a 313 at the IHSA 3A Quincy Boys Golf Regional at Westview Country Club in Quincy. The entire Redbird team was on fire, as the Redbirds finished in 3rd place to qualify for the Lockport Sectional. O’Fallon was overall team winner with a 308 on the day.
Landon Mayer with a excellent effort as he is takes 3rd Place with a 74. Other scores for the Redbirds this day were Nolan Synder 83, Hudson Dorris 78, Donavon Ducey 79, Lucas Davis 87, and Brayden Buchanan 82. The Regional was extremely tight. Only 13 strokes separated first place from seventh.
PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK
Junior Landon Mayer continued his outstanding fall Boys Golf season shooting a 74 at the IHSA 3A Quincy Boys Golf Regional last Wednesday to take 3rd Place overall. His 3 over par 74 help propel the Redbirds team to a 3rd Place finish, which allows them to play in the IHSA Sectional today. Well done Landon.
