Marching 100 Color Guard
The Marching 100 Color Guard will be holding auditions from 4p-6:30p tonight and from 4p-5:15p on Friday of this week. All interested student should plan to attend! If you have any questions, please email Mr. Korte or stop by the band room.
INFO FOR SENIORS
The final days of attendance for seniors will be on May 2nd and May 3rd. Senior final exams are scheduled for these dates.
Senior students will be taking their final exams on May 2nd and May 3rd. Please make sure to prepare accordingly for these examinations.
Exemption Criteria for Senior Finals:
Seniors who are exempt from finals do not have to attend after May 1st. To qualify for exemption from final exams, seniors must meet the following criteria:
1. Good Grades: The student must have a passing grade of A or B for the semester.
2. Attendance: The student may have no more than 6 absences. Absences include unexcused, excused, and medical reasons. Non-absences include field trips, early exits for activities, and e-learning.
3. Behavior: Seniors must have no attendance referrals (tardy, loitering, or skipping) and cannot have more than 6 discipline points in Skyward, with no in-school or out-of-school suspensions.
Students who meet the criteria for exemption from final exams may choose to take the exams to try to improve their grades.
Checking Discipline and Attendance:
Students have the ability to check their discipline and attendance records in Skyward. Please ensure you are up-to-date with your records.
Final Exam Exemption Review Form:
The final exam exemption review form will be available in late April. We will not be reviewing students for exemptions at this time.
Note for Dual Credit and AP Classes:
Please check with your teacher to confirm if Dual Credit and AP classes are eligible for final exam exemptions.

Athletes who cannot attend after school can visit Mrs. Laushke (B227) or Mrs. Winslow (B244) during advisory for help as needed.
Overall, studying for the SAT is important as many colleges offer scholarships based on the score students earn. For a list of scores needed for certain scholarships, students should contact their guidance counselor.
All juniors will take the SAT on Wednesday, April 17.

Student’s, if your ID is lost or you just need a new hole punch…please come to B205 before school & let us know. We will issue you a brand new ID or get you a new hole punch. ALSO, please remember to return any extra ID’s you have to B205.

GUIDELINES FOR WINTER SPORTS
Must be wearing your school ID to attend any event.
If you are in Redbird Nest, you must wear your school ID but your Redbird Nest card can be on your phone.
Students – No bags or purses of any kind.
No food or drink allowed in.
AHS Athletic Event Attendance Policy
All students must have their school ID to be able to enter any athletic event. If you do not have your school ID you will not be admitted to the game.
All Middle School and Elementary Students must enter the athletic event with an adult or chaperone and remain with the adult or chaperone at all times
