INTERACT CLUB
Red Ribbon Week starts this week and the theme for this year is “Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free.” To help spread the drug free message, Interact Club is working with
Chestnut Health Systems, come stop by their tabe Monday, the 21st for a sticker and complete a word search or coloring page. Turn in completed page to Mrs. Connors by Wednesday, October 23rd for a chance to win a taco bell gift card.
Seniors
SIU-E will be here on October 30th for On Site Early Admissions. Seniors must complete an online SIU-E application. The application fee is waived. This is a $40 savings. Students will individually meet with SIU-E admissions counselors.
Sign up in the Guidance office by October 22nd for an appointment. All Seniors with a 2.6 GPA are automatically accepted. Students with a 2.0-2.59 GPA must have a 990 SAT or 19 ACT score.

HOMECOMING
The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 26 from 7-10 pm. Tickets are $15 and will be sold October 14-18. $15 will be charged to each eligible student’s Skyward for a ticket. Tickets can be paid for on Skyward (starting Monday, October 14). Once paid, tickets will be delivered to the student’s advisory teacher. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER OCTOBER 18.

all students parked in the upperlot on Tuesdays and Thursdays they need to have their car moved out of the lot. The marching band practices on the parking lot from 4:00 – 6:30. If you are an athlete that leaves early you must relocate your car to the back of the school in order for the band to practice.
